The Pius XI Baseball Coaching Staff
Head Coach Kevin Kehoss
Coach Kevin Kehoss is a 1991 Graduate of Pius XI High School. He then went on to attend and play baseball collegiately at Indian Hills C.C. in Iowa, Carthage College in Kenosha, where those teams made 2 College World Series appearances. Kehoss returned to his alma-mater in 1998 and has been the Head Coach since. Under the direction of Coach Kehoss, the Pius XI Popes Baseball team has won 313 games in his 18 years. In 2001 Pius won its first WIAA State Summer Baseball Championship. That same year Coach Kehoss was named Journal Sentinel Baseball Coach of the year. Most recently Pius XI captured a share of the 2013 Woodland Conference Title and ended with a 24-4 season and had a school record 19 game winning streak.
Assistant Coach Henry Teetz
Coach Teetz joined the Pius XI Baseball staff in 2002 a year after the State Championship. Coach Teetz went to Greenfield High School where he played four years of baseball. Coach Teetz has been coaching for 21 years in High School baseball. In 2015 Coach Teetz was WIAA Summer Baseball Assistant Coach of the Year!
Coach Dave Pangallo
Coach Pangallo is a graduate of Milwaukee Juneau High School and UW- Milwaukee and has a masters degree from Concordia University. Coach Pangallo is a school counselor and Athletic Director at Obama School of Career and Tech Ed in Milwaukee. He has been with the Pius Staff for 11 years as a Head freshman coach, JV coach, and currently Varisity assistant.
Coach Gilly Piotrowski
Coach Gilly is a volunteer coach and has been with Pius XI for since his step-son was in the program. Gilly has been our outfield coach and done an outstanding job with them.
Head of Baseball Operations: Ryan Teetz
Ryan Teetz has been around the Pius XI Baseball program since Coach Teetz started in 2002. For the past 5 years Ryan has done all of the stats and runs the Pius XI Baseball Twitter and website. Ryan is the guy behind the iScore Central live streaming so you never have to miss a game as a parent, family member or fan of Pius XI baseball.
